Vehicle Entry
At the site entrance, the security officer can scan the licence discs of the vehicle, front trailer and rear trailer using a mobile device. GravityWeigh checks the scanned information against the imported fleet list and provides an immediate visual pass-or-fail result. Where configured, a successful validation can automatically trigger the opening of the security gate or boom.
Vehicle Departure
During departure, the security officer scans the barcode printed on the weigh slip and can also scan the vehicle and trailer licence discs where required. GravityWeigh verifies the weigh slip and vehicle information against the saved transaction before displaying a clear pass-or-fail result. Following successful validation, the system can trigger the gate or boom and allow the vehicle to leave the site.
Single-Use Exit Validation
The barcode printed on the weigh slip acts as a once-off exit permit linked to the relevant vehicle transaction. Once the barcode has been successfully used to authorise departure, it cannot be used again. Any repeat scan will fail validation, helping reduce unauthorised or duplicated vehicle exits.
